The Food Pantry will reopen at it new location on the corner of Webster and Franklin Streets, across from the Christian Sheriff's office, on Tuesday, November 4. See above for hours and weekly schedule.
The Taylorville Ministerial Association sponsors the Taylorville Emergency Food Pantry.
The Food Pantry is run by volunteers from the churches that are a part of the Ministerial Association. Don Readhead serves as director.
The community does an outstanding job of supporting the Food Pantry with not only food donations, but also with cash donations. Food may only be dropped off at the new location during regular food pantry hours. Cash donations may be mailed to Taylorville Food Pantry at 223 West Franklin Street, Taylorville, IL 62568.

Chili Cake Mixes
Tuna Hamburger helper and other main course meals
Raman Noodles Personal care items (tooth paste and brush, shampoo, etc.)
Peanut Butter Jelly
Pasta Sauce Spaghetti
Cereal Snack items for children
Hours for the Food Pantry are Tuesday and Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. No exceptions. People needing food need to have a voucher that can be obtained from most churches and all social service agencies. People need to live in the Taylorville, Mt. Auburn, and Owaneco area in order to be eligible to receive services.
